Opel Astra 1.4 EGR valve question?
Hello! My girlfriends car seems to have me puzzled. She complained of stuttering etc. (also the engine management light was on) so I checked the EGR valve, and noticed it was jammed. I bought a new valve, as cleaning it did not free it up as I hoped it would. Having fitted the valve, the car is the same. Im just wondering if I missed something, or if anyone has any idea where the problem might be.
It does seem like its mis-firing, I noticed when I took it for a spin to check it that the revs climb when I floor the throttle, but the speed doesnt climb with the revs.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

try the coil pack located below the silver cover or spark plugs
