i have an opel/vauxhall astra 1998 model. the reversing lights wont come on. i dont know if it the fuses?
i dont know which fuse to check. or may be it maybe another fault
Doubt it’s the fuse, if your other rear lamps work ok, rear light, rake light, indicators. You will have an diagram in the fuse box explaining the fuses, if you can’t find this pull the fuses 1 by 1 and check if they are blown (the wire will be broken) and replace any that are faulty. It is also worth checking the bulbs.
I’d suspect the switch on the gearstick, when you select reverse gear a small switch is depressed this activates the rear lights, this switch can become corroded over time.
